SCM Startech 29 Spindle Borer

Startech is the new single-head, multi-spindle boring machine designed and manufactured for the small woodworking business looking for a machine for the horizontal and vertical boring of panels.
Features:
The Startech has a solid base supporting a normalised, cast-iron worktable. These two features guarantee heavy-duty use. The boring unit is pivoted on the cast-iron worktable thus forming a single, solid part with machine frame. The main motor is positioned centrally on the boring head, and the monoblock boring head runs on ground steel bar guides. The combination of features ensures vibration-free operation and superior boring precision. During mirrored machining, top precision is ensured by two vernier scales located on the side guides.
