The complete range of hardware CNC Inserting Centres includes NC Anuba Hinge Inserting Machines, NC Slotting / Chisel Mortising Centres and NC Chisel Mortising Centres.
The new range of machines offers the following functions:
- Slotting and boring;
- Anuba hinge inserting;
- Chisel mortising and mortising;
- Slotting for shutters;
- Arch tracing.
These operations can be carried out on separate frame components, eg jamb and transom, or on complete, ready-assembled frames.
Industrial synergies within the SCM Group have made it possible to produce high performance machines. The new products incorporate many advanced technical features derived from the Group's successful 'RECORD' series of Machining Centres. Features include all those expected on an industrial CNC machine - brushless motors on all controlled axes, full-digital servo drivers and prism slideways with recirculating ball screws. Aries is equipped with completely new operator interface software. ERA-HW, entirely developed by SCM's Software Division, allows very easy programming of the machine and, thanks to the new 3D graphic visualisation, it ensures very easy usage by all level of operators.
This new product range is designed for both the craft woodworker and the industrial frame manufacturing company. The craft woodworker can enjoy the full benefits of the ARIES high flexibility which, thanks to a wide range of options, enables it to solve numerous machining requirements using only one machining centre.
The large industrial door and window manufacturers will rely upon a ready to use machining centre that can be inserted in existing production lines. Aries is in fact built with high strength components, with automatic component feeders and it can integrate with the other machines that are necessary in the frame processing cycle.
