The TA WINNER lathe is the result of extensive experience acquired by Centauro in the "wood-turning industry" and incorporates a number of innovative technical features.
The machine has a very strong and sturdy design, and all models are fitted with a high precision ballscrew for the movement and control of the tool carriage.This ensures a consistent, high quality turned component. Users will appreciate the new, easy to use and precise hydraulically-controlled automatic workpiece centering system and the fact this is totally adjustment free.After the turning cycle is completed, the piece is automatically ejected.This
device is suitable for square sections upto 100 mm and is specifically designed to speed up workpiece loading, thereby increasing ouput. For square section components over 100 mm
upto 178 mm, the unit features 2 special "V" supports with fine adjustment. The cutting system incorporates 2 independent Tantung gouges (radius 3,5 mm and 0,6 mm) mounted on sensitive Duplomatic hydraulic copiers that follow either a sample or template. A third 3,5 mm radius gouge can be used for the pre-rounding of large size components.
Another important feature is the use of heavy duty hardened steel interchangeable carriage slideways. These ensure maximum precision of the tool carriage longitudinal movement at speeds upto
30 mt/min. All machine controls are located on a swinging arm panel which can be adjusted for greater operator comfort. The TA WINNER features an automatic workpiece loader for non-stop production cycles, automatic programming and storage of the various tool carriage working speeds as well as programming of the hydraulically controlled tenon/dowel-knife carriages (option). And all these features are controlled via the EM-19 or EM-22 electronic unit with visual display screen.
